Much to all of our delight, Tom Hardy has exploded back onto our screens in the fantastic TV Series - Mobland and also this new movie, Havoc.

The movie follows Tom Hardy’s character - a no-nonsense and somewhat dirty-but-street-wise detective as he fights his way through a criminal underworld to rescue the son of a politician. The city that is portrayed has a Gotham-style vibe and its all dark scenes to go hand in hand with all the corruption and crime in the city.

The acting is ok , the action is good. It’s over the top and pretty run-of-the-mill stuff. Someone was handed a budget to make a dark, crime fuelled action movie for Netflix and they did just that.

It will fill a spot in your day if you wish but there will be no awards for this one.

Basic, but easy to watch if there is nothing else on your radar. You won’t be missing out if you miss the movie and it’s somewhere around 5.5/10 for us.
