What is it About?
Jason Statham stars as Mason, a former assassin who has turned his back on his old life and now lives a quiet and isolated existence on a remote Scottish island.
His solitary lifestyle is interrupted when a violent storm leaves a young girl in danger at sea and Mason has little choice but to come to her rescue. Unfortunately, his act of heroism also attracts unwanted attention and threatens to reveal a past that he has worked hard to leave behind.
With dangerous people now looking for him, Mason is forced out of hiding and back into a world he thought he'd escaped, while also trying to protect the young girl who has unexpectedly entered his life.
It's familiar Jason Statham territory, but this time with the rugged Scottish coastline providing the backdrop.
My Thoughts:
Let’s be honest, it’s pretty much a rinse and repeat of many Jason Statham movie storylines. The action scenes are good, it’s quite entertaining - will I ever watch it again - nope! A bit slow to get started but it improves but I wouldn’t recommend it if you have other options available to you!
