The Thursday Murder Club (2025)

It’s a bit of a struggle to choose a movie to recommend this month - as we’ve haven’t seen much on streaming services that made us want to shout from the rooftops but if we had to offer up something that could be watched by most ages - then The Thursday Murder Club can fit the bill.
It’s not got a cinematic feel to it in the way you would sit an watch a good action - in fact, dare I say it - but to begin with, it had the feel of an over-acted Lindsay Lohan Christmas Movie and it took a bit of time to get into.
Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren seem to be everywhere at the moment and I don’t mind that at all really. The more time you give the movie, the better it becomes and in the end its not a bad whodunnit kind of movie. I think it would appeal to families and seniors and it doesn’t require too much attention to follow along.
Simple and Fun and should have appeal for a variety of viewing demographics but nothing to write home about - 6.3/10. There are far more TV Series worth binging on, rather than searching for a movie - so check out our TV Show reviews for some much better alternatives.
