The Wrecking Crew is not a Hollywood Blockbuster but it is a thoroughly enjoyable, over-the-top action-comedy.
It has extreme violence that would make it unsuitable for younger ones but young teens will love it, as well as adults.
Jason Momoa (Jonny) and Dave Bautista (James) are estranged brothers, who are brought together by the mysterious death of their father. They both live entirely different lives and there are underling emotions that have resulted in their strained relationship. They come together for their dad’s funeral and the story plays out from there.
We’ve seen both actors play serious roles but they have a really good chemistry in this one and the humour really suits them both.
Amazon seem to be way off the pace, in keeping up with Netflix in terms of quality and quantity and although this is not getting the highest rating from us - it’s an enjoyable, action-packed and definitely worth a watch if you’re after something easy to view. Its a 7.1/10 from us for this one.
