It is so easy to unknowingly bypass tv shows and series that are on the UK terrestrial channels but there are some real crackers to be watched.
Only through a suggestion from my parents about a new Season 2 of ‘Red Eye’ did we actually hear about it at all and so we decided to check it out and only then found and decided to give Season 1 a go from 2024 and what a pleasant surprise.
It’s a conspiracy-thriller that might seem a little-far-fetched to some but we found it thoroughly enjoyable!
London Detective Hana Li, has to escort a Doctor on a flight back to China after a death that is being investigated - in relation to a visit by him and a team of doctors. Was it them, or is foul play at hand between two governments with sensitive relations?
It becomes a mad, whodunnit, conspiracy - murder show and it is highly binge-able that jumps between the plane journey and the governments on the ground.
We smashed all episodes in one weekend and look forward to getting stuck into Season 2 for what we hope is more of the same. Far fetched?…yeah, a little…..Entertaining?….absolutely - a solid 7.4/10 for this one- if you like this type of show, get onto ITV X and get it watched.
