In The Lost Lands (2023)

By no means an award winning movie but it is slim pickings at the moment ahead of the Christmas Movie period.
A sorceress, who can refuse no-one (upon payment) to grant their wish - takes on a request from a queen - that requires her to enter the dangerous and mysterious “Lost lands”. It’s set in post-apocalyptic times, where society is a mess - with a religious cult pulling the strings. It has a sort of Mad Max kind of vibe if that helps pain the picture.
Dave Bautista plays Boyce - a mysterious hunter who is the person to turn to when entering the Lost Lands. He is employed by the sorceress to help her on her quests and there is plenty of trouble awaiting them.
It’s an easy watch, far from brilliant but its not too long and a good time-filler if you want something on in the background without having to give it too much attention.
We give it a lowly 5.1/10 , which may sound harsh but it’s where it’s at and you’ll feel the same after finishing it.
