We’ve been crying out for a great Series to come along before the Christmas Season hits and thank the Lord - Landman Season 2 has arrived.
Season 1 is one of our favourite tv shows of recent times and we’re hoping for more of the same with Season 2. Landman is written and directed by Taylor Sheridan - who brought us the massive Yellowstone Series and subsequent under-appreciated prequels - ‘1883’ and ‘1923’ - which were fantastic in their own right. If you were into them, you should love Landman too.
Season 2 continues from Season 1, centred around Billy Bob Thornton’s character Tommy Norris - who has added responsibilities to his already tough job role as Operations Manager for a large oil outfit. I’ll not spoil Season 1 for you if you have yet to see it - but make sure you go binge on it first!
It more than keeps up the pace with Season 1, takes an episode or 2 to get back into it but some crazy storylines and we’re happy with the season ending and options for Season 3 storylines. You also get to look forward to seeing more of Demi Moore, Andy Garcia and the newest addition to the cast - the awesome Sam Elliott.
Fantastic Season 2 - 8.0/10 kept improving as the episodes went on.
