Eric Bana plays an awkward and troubled National Parks Service Agent and the storyline circles around a pretty brutal death that happens in the National Park - that we are introduced to in an intense opening scene.
It’s a 7 episode Netflix mystery thriller mini-series that circles around the investigation into this death. Foul play is clearly at hand and we are served up with this gritty ‘who dunnit?’ show that boasts spectacular scenery and beautiful cinematography.
As with so many shows that find their way onto the very-good or great list - it’s the intertwining of multiple storylines that keep us well engaged and interested and this one does just that - as some of the Parks secrets from past become known during the investigation.
It’s not our TV show of the month BUT if you can’t afford an Apple TV+ subscription to watch ‘Chief of War’ or ‘Your Friends and Neighbors’ - then this could be the binge show for you. Some moments are a little bit unbelievable, which make for entertainment but perhaps take a little off the credibility but overall it is a big pat on the back for Netflix with this one.
Great show, definitely a binge-worthy one and a well-deserved 7.4/10 from us, for ‘Untamed'.
